Seven contrasting, vibrant and bold buildings that pay tribute to island life on historic Oostenburg. The Oosterlingen is located on one of Oostenburg’s last available parcels, in the centre of Amsterdam.

Co-founder of the architectural firm MVRDV, Winy Maas’ design exudes sustainability and nature inclusiveness. Urban enjoyment and sustainable, green living come together in optimal fashion here. This is where you’ll find your home. A place to celebrate life.

Seven bold buildings

Each building tells its own story and has a unique feel. Boldly designed with the use of earthy materials and specific, vibrant flora and fauna for each building. The common denominator: all the buildings stand out in their sustainability, originality and quality, both inside and out.

The seven buildings will house a total of 142 owner-occupied homes ranging from studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, to lofts and townhouses. Plenty of choice for a varied mix of residents. Nearly every home is unique. Much attention was paid to the design of optimal and unique layouts with a special focus on the relationship between privacy and space for spontaneous encounters.

At the Oosterlingen, you will be living at the tip of Oostenburg island. Located on the lively Lijnbaanplein, your home at the Oosterlingen will gives you an unobstructed view of life in the city.
